Main dances and classes will occur at Glen Echo Park.
The Spanish Ballroom
The Spanish Ballroom is a beautifully restored 1933 Mediterranean style Art Deco building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is a glamorous venue with a fabulous maple wood floor that we just love dancing in. You won’t find another place like it, and you won’t forget dancing there for a long time to come!
The Bumper Car Pavilion
The Bumper Car Pavilion was built in 1923 as a cornerstone attraction of Glen Echo Park during the amusement Park era. With great views of the Park, this versatile facility is a unique setting for a real special Friday night dance to kick off the weekend!
The Back Room
The Back Room, or Ballroom Annex, adjacent to the historic Spanish Ballroom, is a recently renovated, climate-controlled space with beautiful maple wood floors. This is the site of our regular weekly Thursday blues dance!
Transportation Notes for Glen Echo: Glen Echo Park is most easily accessed via a car–ride with a friend! However, you can get there via public transit if need be; see our Thursday night dance page for more details. All other venues are easily accessible by Metro.
