Your favorite barbecue-centric blues dance weekend is back!
Afternoon picnics, dancing all night. No competitions, just sweet, sweet music and amazing food.
This year’s event features Robert Lighthouse, Clarence “The Blues Man” Turner, DC Blues Society 2025 Battle of the Bands Winner Nella B & the Noise!
This year we also decided to do something to showcase the people in our community who make local dances possible: DJs! On the local and the national scale, they are unspoken heroes who keep our community alive and moving (literally)! DJs are sometimes overshadowed at larger events like this, but this year we are devoting our Sunday evening dance to their sets! All SEVEN of our amazing DJs will be trading tunes all night. Get excited!
And theres’ more! Delicious BBQ (even for vegans!), a cookout with Sides Competition, and plenty of time to hang in wonderful parks with friends, old and new!
