Dance locations and new class series

It’s a good time to dance blues. We’ve returned to our usual weekly schedule: dances every Thursday night at Glen Echo Park. And we’re thrilled to be offering our first workshop series in over two years: an all-levels class on blues connection.

Important location note: for three weeks in October, dances will happen in the Bumper Car Pavilion, right across from the Back Room at Glen Echo. See the weekly dances page for directions. The Bumper Car Pavilion is outdoors, so dress for the weather.

October dance locations:

Oct. 6 – Back Room
Oct. 13 – Bumper Car Pavilion
Oct. 20 – Bumper Car Pavilion
Oct. 27 – Bumper Car Pavilion

In November we’ll be back in the Back Room again. Dance with you soon!

Weekly dances resume in October

The Back Room’s back. We have two more dances in September until we finally… drumroll… return to weekly dances every Thursday starting in October.

The remaining September dances will be:

September 15
September 29

The October dance schedule will be:

October 6
October 13
October 20
October 27

…continuing every Thursday after that.

Please note also that dances on October 13, 20, and 27 will be held outdoors in the Bumper Car Pavilion at Glen Echo Park. It’s the white wooden structure directly outside the door to the Back Room. Remember to dress for the weather.
